Romans 12:8 Context

⁵So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. ⁶Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; ⁷Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching; ⁸Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness. ⁹Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. ¹⁰Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; ¹¹Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;

We should think much about giving to God as he has given to us. As we care about people, keep others in mind. Giving includes our head, our heart and our hands. What is the secret of this great happiness? The happiness only comes when there is nothing expected in return. and when it is done with a joyful heart.

2 Corinthians 9:6-8

⁶ But this I say: He who soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly, and he who soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.

⁷ As every man purposeth in his heart, so let him give, not grudgingly or out of compulsion; for God loveth the cheerful giver.

⁸ And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound in every good work.
